SENIOR ADULT PROGRAMMING IS PLEASED TO BE A PART OF THE SIMON FAMILY JCC

JCC SENIORS CLUB MEETING 
Every 3rd Wednesday, 12pm
Cost $5.00 (For JCC Seniors Club members only*)
Enjoy a catered lunch and entertainment in the Furman Room.
Call 426-3297 to inquire about becoming a JCC Seniors Club member. As a member, you can attend shows, plays, take bus trips and dine out with a wonderful group! It is a fun time for all.
BOOK CLUB
Every 3rd Monday, 2pm
Cost: FREE
If you love to read and enjoy discussing books with others, this is the group for you. The discussions have been delightful and entertaining, never mind the interesting snacks! Hope to see you soon in the Moss Room at the JCC!
SASSY SENIORS
This is an amazing group of active, young at heart, senior ladies who enjoy day traveling to areas such as Richmond, North Carolina, Eastern Shore and more to enjoy their culture, shops, lunch and just plain fun. If this is for you, please give Sherry a call at 321-2309 to be added to the growing list and to see what is upcoming... we are currently in the planning stages of a trip to Washington, D.C. and would love to have you come out and enjoy that with us!
BRING YOUR OWN GAME
Every Monday, Tuesday or Thursday let the Siimon Family JCC be your host to play your favorite game with our group. Anything from Mah Jongg, Bridge, Bunco, to Board Games are welcome. – What a great place to enjoy, relax and meet new seniors while having lunch or a snack at our Cardo Cafe (kosher, dairy only).
CURRENT EVENTS
Every Thursday from 10:30am to noon come out and enjoy lively and informative discussions on current events - including local, national, and global issues. – This is a great way to share your views or just simply sit back and find out what others are thinking about the world around us.
MAH JONGG
Every Monday beginning at 1:30pm in Room 147 (Senior Room) we have an active, fun group of ladies who play Mah Jongg, so if you are new to the game or a pro and are looking to get in the game... please call Sherry at 321-2309 and begin to enjoy a nice game with a wonderful group of ladies.
BRIDGE
Every 2nd and 4th Monday beginning at 1:30pm in the Moss Room we have a wonderful group sharing the love of Bridge. If you enjoy playing, please come out and join in here at the Simon Family JCC.
JIGSAW PUZZLES
Everyday in the Senior Room putting together of jigsaw puzzles has taken on a life of its own. Since we began putting these puzzles together, we have completed over 50 puzzles. We have donated the completed puzzles to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children and to the YWCA for their abused women homes. Please drop in next time you are at the JCC, put a few puzzle pieces together, and feel good and young at heart!
KNITTING FOR OTHERS
Every Monday from 10am to Noon in the Klezmer Room you can join knitters of all ages as they knit lap quilts, slippers, scarves and much more for people who reside in nusing facilities. Beginners are welcome because instruction and sharing our skills is all part of the fun here!

JCC SENIORS CLUB LUNCHEON AND MEETING
Wednesday, December 21, 2011 the JCC Seniors club will hold their luncheon and meeting. It will include the installation of officers for the upcoming year and a Chanukah Celebration at noon.
MOVIES AT THE J
Wednesday, October 26th at 1:30pm
Come to the Klezmer Room to view the movie "Fiddler on the Roof." Bring your lunch (Dairy only), enjoy the movie, and munch on popcorn - there is no cost for this presentation.
