Operation Hamantashen
“My hat it has three corners, three corners has my hat. My hat – my cookie!” Spend your afternoon baking Purim cookies for others – and yourself too! Operation Hamantashen provides cookies to servicemen and women, and also supports Jewish Family Service’s Food Closet. We will provide everything you need and teach you all you need to know! Special bonus, bakers are tasters. Hamantashen will be available for purchase during event. Participation is free, and all are welcome.

Family Shabbat Dinners
Family Shabbat Under the Sea!
Please join UJFT’s YAD and JCC Children and Family as we celebrate Shabbat at the Virginia Beach Aquarium. Dinner will be a catered kosher-style affair. After dinner enjoy spending time with family and friends as we explore the Aquarium, view the exhibits and pet sea creatures. Everyone is welcome. KNO – Kids Night Out
Kids Night Out, the 3rd Saturday of each month, is a JCC members only program. Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years are invited to register for this fun evening. Free swim with lifeguard supervision (5 year and up), games, crafts and snacks are all designed around the monthly theme. Enjoy your night out while the JCC staff provides a safe, supervised and fun environment in which to be active, make friends and have fun, win prizes, and most importantly - leave parents at home!
Cost: $10.00 per child (Open to JCC members only)
Time: 6:00 - 10:00pm
Where: Meet in JCC Lobby to Sign In; Don’t forget your bathing suit.
